Writing

My work encompasses poetry, theatre and film. Below you can find some of my most recent theatre and film projects. Silence and Her Roommate 

When Lola moves to university, Silence is an adorable guest who calms her as she navigates a new daunting life. But as Silence grows, Lola’s ties to the outside world start to suffer. Sooner or later, Lola will have to confront the elephant-sized creature in her room - how much Silence is simply too much?

 

Commissioned by BBC New Creatives and produced by Rural Media. The film was broadcast on BBC Four in December 2021.

When travel blogger Mike hosts an impromptu livestream, a barrage of commenters urge him to confront the hypocrisies of his lifestyle.

Ruptured 

A spoken word piece about the hazy barriers of culture, language and generational differences between us and those we love.

 

Written and performed at Theatre Peckham in May 2021 as part of the Final Drafts festival.

Lost and Found in Asda 

A monologue about connection, grief and the power of physical touch.

 

Written for the Scratching The Servers night, organised by The Undisposables at The Space. Originally performed by Vee Punz and directed by Sybilla Kalid.
